Cooking time depends on the heat of the pan - from about 20 seconds to a minute. We will fry the egg pancake for rolls only on one side, but under the lid.

The pancake is considered ready only when there is no wet dough left on it. After this, remove the finished pancake from the heat and repeat the procedure again with the next batch of egg mixture. And so on until the “dough” is over.

  • Pancakes with mayonnaise are a great solution if you have an old pack of mayonnaise lying around in the refrigerator. This recipe is slightly different from the traditional one, which uses milk to prepare pancake dough: here the main components will be mayonnaise and eggs.     You can totally use baking soda instead of baking powder if you want. It is also not necessary to add exactly half a liter of water: if you plan to bake pancakes for one meal, then you need to add less water.

    When preparing these pancakes, it is not necessary to add eggs, because, as you know, mayonnaise already contains them. So, if the dough is prepared correctly, the pancakes will hold their shape perfectly even without eggs.

    How to cook pancakes with mayonnaise

    Prepare all ingredients for pancakes: eggs, mayonnaise, sugar, vanillin, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil, water, flour.

    Take eggs, break them into a separate bowl, pour mayonnaise over them.

    Whisk the eggs and mayonnaise until you get a yellowish liquid mass.

    After this, pour sugar, salt, baking powder and vanillin into the dough.

    Mix the dough again and dilute it with boiled warm water.

    Pour the last ingredient – ​​wheat flour – into the bowl with the dough. Before doing this, it is advisable to sift it.

    After this, knead the dough - it should be liquid, like condensed milk.

    The dough is ready, let's start baking pancakes. Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and put on fire. Use about half a ladle of dough for one pancake, fry the pancake on each side for 30 seconds.

    Place the finished pancakes in a pile on a separate plate.

    Now we prepare the dish for serving. Place the pancakes on serving plates and fold them into quarters. Garnish with jam or any berries of your choice.

    You can also get a little creative: condensed milk or chocolate sauce are suitable as a sweet addition.

    Mayonnaise pancakes recipe

    What sauce goes with all salty foods? Mayonnaise is very tasty and nutritious. Only recently has it been often criticized for its harmfulness. Moreover, they are often criticized fairly, since store-bought mayonnaise contains many harmful substances, preservatives, it is too salty and fatty, and low-fat mayonnaise contains stabilizers. But you can prepare homemade mayonnaise in ten minutes, and pancakes cooked with this sauce will be just as tasty, but less harmful than with store-bought mayonnaise.

    If everything is done correctly, the pancakes according to the recipe should turn out lacy, thin, with holes. If you want thicker discs, you need a thicker batter, so use 500 milliliters of water rather than the 800 milliliters of water called for in the recipe.

    Prepare two tablespoons of mayonnaise, three glasses of sifted wheat flour, 800 milliliters of water (it is better to take boiled and cooled water), one egg, two tablespoons of sugar, a level teaspoon of salt, three tablespoons of sunflower oil, half a teaspoon of soda should be quenched with vinegar.

    1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, salt, egg, mayonnaise, beat and mix well.
    2. Add flour in small portions without ceasing to stir. After breaking up the lumps, pour in soda and sunflower oil (can be any vegetable oil). The dough should be like sour cream, medium consistency, but pourable.
    3. It is better to fry in a non-stick frying pan; you need to add a little oil only for one pancake, which will be fried first.

    Despite the fact that the pancakes are made with mayonnaise, you can add not only salty, but also sweet fillings.

    Recipe:

    • beat the egg with a whisk;
    • the heated milk should be poured into the egg and stirred;
    • add sugar, salt, mayonnaise;
    • stirring, add soda, vegetable oil and flour in small portions.

    Thanks to the presence of soda, pancakes turn out with large holes, and thanks to starch, they turn out thick and fluffy.

    To avoid using store-bought mayonnaise, you can make your own at home. It is not so harmful because it is fresh and does not contain preservatives or other harmful additives.

    Recipe - mix four chicken eggs, a teaspoon of sugar, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of mustard (you can do without mustard, but then it won’t be Provençal) in a bowl, and mix with a blender at low speed. Mayonnaise should be emulsified, so there is no need to mix the ingredients at high speeds, otherwise it will become liquid rather than thick. Without ceasing to stir, pour in sunflower, corn or olive oil in a thin stream; in total you need about 200 grams of oil.

    After the mayonnaise becomes thick, you need to add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (can be replaced with regular vinegar or lemon juice), after which the yellow mixture will turn white and become similar to regular mayonnaise.

    There is a little trick in cooking - all ingredients must be at room temperature; cold ingredients may not work. It is also necessary that the vegetable oil is of high quality, and not fake palm oil with flavorings. Make sure that the eggs are fresh and from trusted sources, as they go into mayonnaise raw. Mayonnaise does not last long - as soon as you prepare it, use it immediately.
